Dairy Marketing Meet, Greet & Discussion

October 15 - October 16, 2019

Dairy Marketing Meet, Greet & Discussion

Dr. Christopher A . Wolf has recently joined the faculty of the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. He will be assuming leadership for the Dairy Markets Program as Dr. Andrew Novakovic looks toward retirement. Both have been active participants in a national effort to support dairy farmers, cooperatives, processors and more through DairyMarkets.org.  This group:
  • develops tools to help farmers evaluate participation in national programs for risk management;
  • hosts the Annual National Workshop for Dairy Economists and Policy Analysts and;
  • conducts research to evaluate impacts of dairy policy changes on different sectors and geographic areas of the industry.
These discussions will be an informal "Dutch Treat" meal and conversation about the current dairy market situation. Bring your questions to keep discussion lively.

  • Tuesday, October 15, 1:00 pm, BW's Restaurant, 11070 Perry Road, Pavilion
  • Tuesday, October 15, 6:00 pm, Chanderson's Steak & Seafood, 11851 Route 16, Yorkshire
  • Wednesday, October 16, 10:30 am, Dutch Village Restaurant, 8729 East Main Street, Clymer

2026 Forage Congress

March 12, 2026
Nunda, NY

Due to the unprecedented winter storm that recently impacted travel conditions across the region and U.S., combined with extreme cold temperatures and associated safety concerns, Forage Congress was postponed out of an abundance of caution. This decision was made with the safety of our participants, speakers, staff, and venue partners as the highest priority.

 We are pleased to officially announce that Forage Congress has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2026, and will be held at The Nunda Ranch as originally planned.

Address: 2278-NY 436, Nunda, New York 14517

Sponsorship opportunities, vendor participation, and event registration are now open. We are excited to reconvene this important educational program and look forward to welcoming producers, industry partners, and speakers for a full day of applied, research-based forage systems programming.
