Organic Dairy Profit Discussion Group

July 24, 2019

10am - 3pm
Dryden Fire Hall
26 North St, Dryden NY

For more information, contact Mary Kate Wheeler at mkw87@cornell.edu or 509-294-6073.

This will be the very first meeting of a new Organic Dairy Profit Discussion Group. The goal is to form a group of organic dairy producers that will meet twice a year to discuss how management strategies are linked to profitability and other performance measures.

After introductions, this meeting will focus on a summary report of key production and financial indicators drawn from the participating farms' 2018 Dairy Farm Business Summaries. Members will discuss the impacts of management practices on business performance measures. We will provide coffee and lunch!

To participate, the farm needs to have a completed 2018 Dairy Farm Business Summary before the meeting.

If you would like to participate in the discussion group, but have not yet completed the Dairy Farm Business Summary, please contact you local Cornell Cooperative Extension office and ask to be connected with your local Farm Business Management Educator.

This program is a collaboration with PRO-DAIRY and an extension of their existing Dairy Profit Discussion Group program. For more information about Dairy Profit Discussion Groups, visit the PRO-DAIRY website:
