" Managing For Healthier Soils and Cleaner Water"
Jim will discuss the impact of no-till and cover crops on soil health, soil nutrients, weed and pest suppression and crop yields.

Dr. Eric Young, USDA Agriculture Research Service

Eric will discuss water quality in tile-drained fields and implications for soil health. 

Karl Czymmek: Cornell PRODAIRY
"Soil Resilience: Back to the Basics"
Karl will review soil features, types of soil organic matter and the important role of soil conservation to maintain soil productivity. He will discuss practical results from a long term manure and compost project.

Klaas will discuss his soil health practices and how he manages cover crops and pests in an organic system.
