There will be opportunities for farmers to:

 -Tour the Cornell Vet School Teaching Dairy
 -Learn about resources available to them
 -Enjoy Cornell Dairy Ice Cream
 -Learn about the Team and Campus Research Updates at the Dairy Breakout
 -Hear from NY FarmNet's farmer panel
 -Tour Stocking Hall, where Cornell Ice Cream is made from the Teaching Dairy's milk

Throughout the afternoon, kid's activities and a resource fair of agri-service organizations will be available. Parking at the Teaching Barn is free; parking passes/carpooling from the Teaching Dairy to Stocking Hall will be provided. Registration is requested by July 27th to make sure we have enough ice cream, but walk-ins are welcome! Feel free to come to whatever portion of the event you can make it to. 2026 Forage Congress

Due to the unprecedented winter storm that recently impacted travel conditions across the region and U.S., combined with extreme cold temperatures and associated safety concerns, Forage Congress was postponed out of an abundance of caution. This decision was made with the safety of our participants, speakers, staff, and venue partners as the highest priority.

 We are pleased to officially announce that Forage Congress has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2026, and will be held at The Nunda Ranch as originally planned.

From Dry to Fresh: Transition Cow Management Training
