SCNY Dairy Manager Discussion Group Tour to WNY

The SCNY Dairy Manager's Discussion Group will be joining with the NWNY Dairy Manager's Discussion Group for a tour at El-Vi Farm in Newark, NY.  El-Vi has a new transition cow barn they will be showing, and managers that tour will have a chance to see any other portion of the operation they are interested in.  As a focus for the tour, the group will be asked to put on their "manager" hats and assess the farm for strengths and opportunities.  After lunch, the group will discuss these findings with farm owners.

2026 Forage Congress

Due to the unprecedented winter storm that recently impacted travel conditions across the region and U.S., combined with extreme cold temperatures and associated safety concerns, Forage Congress was postponed out of an abundance of caution. This decision was made with the safety of our participants, speakers, staff, and venue partners as the highest priority.

 We are pleased to officially announce that Forage Congress has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2026, and will be held at The Nunda Ranch as originally planned.
