Twilight Dairy Meeting - Heifer Facility Tour

August 2, 2017


The Carey family has upgraded both calf and heifer facilities in recent years. Tour the facilities of both calves on milk and weaned heifers through transition. Speaker Rich Toebe of CCE Delaware County will present his heifer growth study, covering age at first calving and growth curves to reach mature body size efficiently.  The Careys will be present to answer any questions related to their operation.  
Light refreshments will be served.
