Raising Your Bull Calves Can Add to Your Dairy Farm Profitability

CCE Livestock Specialist, Capital Area Agriculture and Horticulture Program, Tom Gallagher, will discuss vaccination programs for dairy steers and dairy beef quality assurance.

VP for Cattle Procurement at JBS, Larry Rose, from Greely, Colorado, will give an overview of JBS, including information on a feedlot leased by JBS in Nicholsville, NY, marketing dairy beef and risk management in regard to raising beef.
