Sarah Van Orden uses SmaXtec boluses for monitoring grazing cows and heifers. These transponders help with heat detection, monitoring rumen efficiency, calving alerts, as well as other general health alerts. Her conception rate with AI is 80%. The investment has proven to be a way to have more eyes on the animals 24/7 without hiring more people.
