11:00 am - Dr. Mike Van Amburgh, Cornell Animal Science: Early calf growth and it's impact on milk production later in life. Is there a correlation between the calf's sex and her dam's production? Immunity impacts on the calf when the dam suffers heat stress.

1:00 pm - Tom Terry, Cornell Cooperative Extension Harvest NY Program: What opportunities does this new round of Dairy Acceleration Program (DAP) funding provide for New York State Dairy Producers?
1:45 pm - Dr. Curt Van Tassell, Research Geneticist, ARS, USDA: What is genomics and where is it taking us? Will we be able to continue to improve production while also improving a variety of health and reproduction efficiency traits?
