Hemdale Farms is proud to host a farm tour focusing on cow comfort and transition cow facilities as it relates to a NY Farm Viability Institute grant project over the last two years. CCE Regional Dairy Specialists will go over results and benchmarks from assessments of these areas from all 15 farms involved in the study, and Hemdale will share areas they've worked to improve related to fresh and transition cow comfort, as well as give a farm tour and answer questions about their robotic operation. The tour is free to all participants, but registration is required.

2026 Forage Congress

Due to the unprecedented winter storm that recently impacted travel conditions across the region and U.S., combined with extreme cold temperatures and associated safety concerns, Forage Congress was postponed out of an abundance of caution. This decision was made with the safety of our participants, speakers, staff, and venue partners as the highest priority.
We are pleased to officially announce that Forage Congress has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2026, and will be held at The Nunda Ranch as originally planned.
