Recommendations for Minimizing Compaction
Featuring Warren Schneckenburger, Cedar Lodge Farm
Warren Schneckenburger, owner-operator of Cedar Lodge Farms and winner of the 2019 Innovator of the Year award from the Innovative Farmers Association of Ontario, will discuss his experiences with managing soil compaction on his farm and discoveries he and Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association farmers have made in recent years during a province-wide project looking at the relationship between tractor and implement weights, tire types and pressures, and soil pressures that resulted.
