Dairy Day will be held in two locations.  January 13 at Appley Center - White Eagle Conference Center, Hamilton, NY, and January 14 at CCE Saratoga County (exact building TBD, Ballston Spa, NY

9am - doors open, coffee hour, and trade show
10am - 3pm - presentations and lunch

Corn & Soybean Day will be held in two locations.  January 20 at Appley Center - White Eagle Conference Center, Hamilton, NY, and January 21 at CCE Saratoga County Auditorium, Ballston Spa, NY

2.75 DEC Pesticide Recertification Credits: Cat. 1A, 10, 21, or 23 

3.5 CCA CEUs: 2.5 (IPM), 1.0 (Soil and Water Mgmt)

Credits only available for attending one day.

Lunch Included

  • Dr. Vipan Kumar - Weed management in Corn and soy rotations with herbicide resistant weeds
  • Raevyn Saunders, our new Farm Business Management Specialist
  • Dr. Camilo Parada Rojas, Cornell's new Field Crop Plant Pathologist - Introduction to his program, and managing white mold and other soybean diseases
  • Dr. Quirine Ketterings - Soil tests and interpreting results, and pH/lime management
  • Plus an update on field crop insect pest monitoring (cutworms and armyworms in corn, potato leafhopper in alfalfa) and neonicotinoid seed treatment research updates
