Gypsum Bedding in Long-Term Manure Storage May Create Dangerous Conditions

A recent gas meter reading has detected immediate health and safety levels of hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S). Take extra precautions when agitating and aerating manure storages if gypsum is used as bedding and added to storages.
