This calculator requires the use of a Brix refractometer to determine the % of total solids in the waste milk to be used in feeding calves. Selecting a % solids goal and volume of final feed needed will allow you to determine how much milk replacer or other balancing powder must be added to the waste milk if any to achieve the desired level of solids.
